On Thursday 19th i visited Harewood House. I found the grounds absolutely stunning and the bird garden very fun. The weather was a turn for the worst but i have found it has added much more detail to my images. As i explored the gardens i was drawn in by the magnificently bright and large flowers because of this i decided to test my skills and see what sort of images i could create. I really enjoyed this part of my shoot as i found the flowers lovely to look at and was very impressed with the standard of work that i produced. The images are very sharp and show all the detail of each flower and how they were feeling along with me in the heavy rain.
On the other hand however i was struggling to take sharp photos of the amazing scenery, the hills which were moved to create the incredible view. In the future i want to learn how to capture every aspect of the outdoors whether it be hill/trees/farms in the distance or flowers which are in front of my face. I enjoyed taking photos of the flowers and am really proud of the work i manged to produce.
I also managed to capture some magnificent close up of some beautiful birds throughout the bird garden as well. When i look at these images my imagination flutters into loads of different ideas as to what birds i have captured due to the close up and sharpness of the images. However i struggled with capturing a lot of the birds due to how fast they were moving, therefore i would like to re-practice this shoot by testing out different shutter speeds, to improve the quality of my images and to improve my abilities so that i can create many more photos for myself and everybody else to enjoy.
