I also visited Saltaire, i found the town heritage extremely interested are really enjoyed exploring the place.Throughout my visit of Saltaire i was asked to capture 10 different images, something stripy, spotty, square, diagonal, round, rough, huge, tiny, smooth and finally something orange.
At first as i was exploring the beautiful town i found it hard but once i begin the see the beauty and the nature of the place
and how it had been moderised i begin to see a theme of nature and wood fall into place. For these images i decided i would capture what i could within the nature and new additions to Saltaire which make it look so beautiful.
I found that i captured some of the most beautiful things within Saltiare throughout my shoot. The sharpness of the images is really strong and i see that it brings the plants to live making them look even more eye catching and breathtaking.
However to improve my shoot i wish i had added more of the original heritage of Saltaire into my shoot. If i were to do this shoot again i would look further into the town of Saltaire and add the uniqueness of the shops and also i would include more from the mill. This is because one of my images doesn’t link in with my theme of nature and modernism, i found it hard shooting a picture of something stripy. I shot an image of a shop and find the image very inadequate to the rest. I would like to improve on my skills of seeking out what i need find to achieve greater images.I found the exhibition fascinating and it wasn’t what i expected at all however i loved all the work and couldn’t keep my eyes off it which it what i want to achieve. See if you can figure out what is what from my photos.
