Techniques and Process 1A – Evaluation on ISO

From my research sources i now know that…

The ISO speeds determines the sensitivity of the camera to incoming light. A Lower ISO is usually desirable for photographers. This is because higher ISO speeds increase the amount of noise within an image. This noise reduces the dynamic range and colour sensitivity within an image. However people tend to use a higher ISO speed when the desired shutter speed and aperture do not let in enough light. Higher ISOs also allow you to sue higher shutter speeds but smaller aperture creating a maximised depth of field.
