Studio Practice 1B – Proposal – Test Shoot 8

The aim of this task was to photograph silhouettes based in the Victorian era. I used the studio for this shoot and props and costumes to help with the appearance.
From this shoot i have managed to gain further understanding of using the studio, controlling the set and how to incorporate ideas and props in to my my photography. Within the studio i decided that i prefer the grey background within my images compared to bleach white as i believe it adds a life like affect to the images whereas bleach white makes them look draw and positioned, which is what i wanted within the caricatures not with photographing people.
Overall i have fulfilled my aims for this task and i am happy with the overall images i managed to shoot which will represent a Victorian male. I also feel more confident within controlling a set and using props within my images due to planning.
