Advanced Studio Practice – Concept research – Hairstyles + Make-up developments

In order to create my overall mythical creature look the whole appearance of my model must be considered. Hair is key element within this.
I have looked on Youtube and at Google images of how people create different hair styles – this has inspired me to create hair styles that link with my concept and also help me create them with step by step instructions.
Due to my model been away at this time i have practiced  these hair styles on myself in order to show that i can create them, what they look like and how they will affect the overall concept of my image.
I  have different hair colour and style to my model, her hair is all one length and blonde. Therefore when i do these hair styles on her they will look fuller and neater than they are on myself as i will have a birds eye view of what i am doing which means the sectioning of the hair will be more accurate and the amount of hair that gets tied and plaited will be thicker.
When i meet with my model next week i will be practicing these hair styles and further make-up ideas in order to decide a final appearance of my model towards my concept in creating a mythical/magical beauty character.
The hair will be put up neatly and props will be added to transform the appearance. All hair will be crimped or curled to add a more innocent/relaxed style.
