External Opportunity – Red Ribbon Charity – Bradford University – Fashion Show Behind the scenes

Advanced Studio Practice 2B – Outcome 2 – External Opportunity and write up
Advanced Techniques & Process 2B – Outcome 2
PDP – Outcome 2

After photographing for the Universities Red Ribbon Charity organisation last year they have asked me to come photograph behind the scenes of their next charity event – Fashion Show.

I have accepted this opportunity in order to build up a client base, gain more experience and knowledge and it’s a link to Fashion photography.

I am photographing the rehearsals every other week. On my first rehearsal shoot i found it went well, however i had to leave early due to technical issues however i managed to get some great shots which they can use. 2 sets of batteries were burned through within my flash gun, i believe this is due to the flash gun been frozen from been carried around in the cold weather all day then the fast usage of the flash making the batteries over heat.

Next time i will make sure all my equipment is working before hand and that i have more spare batteries as well as this i will be narrowing down what i photograph.
