Advanced Studio Practice 2B – Test Shoot 4

Outcome 3 – Record of substantial body of work

The aim of this shoot was to capture the lifestyle of my model.

This was an unsuccessful shoot.
After photographing and selecting images i realised that these images were not capturing my proposal issues, as i wasn’t clear on what my issues were. Therefore i re-evaluated my proposal and made my issues clearer.
The issues i have now clarified are that i am looking in to the false representation of women in the media.

It was an unsuccessful shoot as i was trying to hard to link my image to ‘lifestyle’ stereotypes in both clothing/photographic style that my issues were been lost in the images – they are unclear. However the images met the aims of my shoot as i believe i have capture the models lifestyle – however these images present more of a client shoot than my proposal issues.

Update – 09/03/15

After getting feedback off tutors and peers i now know that i need to plan what i want to photograph and how i’m going to do it…

– how i will present my issues – (parody of current magazines poses/expressions – present these poses/expressions upon a true representation of model – no post production)
– how i will compose the images – (studio set up, research in to magazines images to parody, controlled lighting)
